  • Jeremiah Wright on Derrick Bell, Jesus, and the Jews: A Sermon Obama Could Not Have Missed

In one sermon, which Wright published in 1995 in a collection entitled Africans Who Shaped Our Faith: A Study of 10 Biblical Personalities, Wright referred specifically to Bell’s protest against Harvard–the same protest that Obama supported in a video released by last week. The sermon repeats the main doctrine of Bell’s Critical Race Theory–that the United States was founded on racism, and that America remains irredeemably racist. Wright also attacked “Jewish lawyers,” comparing the Jews of Jesus’s time to “Klansmen” and describing Jesus as a racial provocateur: Jesus is a perfect model for the best type of faith. Jesus…

“History proves that the white man is a devil,” said Malcolm X. “Whites are liars,” said Jeremiah Wright. “I love to harass white folks,” said Derrick Bell. “This is what you deserve. You get what you deserve, white boy,” a black teenager said to Allen Coon, a white student on the porch of his own home, as he set him on fire. “Don’ tell me words don’t matter,” Obama once said. And he was right. Words do matter. The words of his mentors that have rooted hate so deep in the black community that it has become a cancer, a…

MANCHESTER — With the two-year anniversary of President Barack Obama’s health-care law coming up on March 23, the Obama campaign and Democratic National Committee are mounting a major effort to promote what they view as the benefits of the program and try to ensure it’s a plus, and not a liability, for the President or Democratic candidates in this election year. The U.S. Supreme Court is slated to hold oral arguments later this month on a challenge to the controversial individual mandate portion of the law. Republicans hope to use that occasion to whip up opposition, as they did in…

Why isn’t Congress stopping the Obama Regime from using American tax dollars to pimp for Islam in Europe?

Posted: March 10, 2012 | Author: | Filed under: ISLAMOBAMA | 32 Comments »

Even more outrageous, the U.S. ambassador to Spain recently met with a group of Muslim immigrants in one of the most Islamized neighborhoods of Barcelona to apologize for American foreign policymaking in the Middle East.

American diplomats are repeatedly apologizing to Muslims in Europe for a multitude of real or imagined slights against Islam, and the U.S. State Department is now spending millions of dollars each year actively promoting Islam — including Islamic Sharia law — on the continent.

Stonegate Institute (H/T Maria) U.S. Ambassador Alan Solomont told Muslims assembled at the town hall-like meeting in the heart of Barcelona’s old city that the United States is not an “enemy of Islam” and that U.S. President Barack Obama wants to improve America’s image in the Middle East as quickly as possible by closing the “dark chapters” of the U.S. invasion of Iraq and the war in Afghanistan.

“There are things that the United States has done badly,” Solomont said at the February 28 gathering organized by a non-profit organization called the Cultural, Educational and Social Association of Pakistani Women. “But now the Obama government wants to improve relations with Muslims,” he promised.

During the one-and-a-half-hour question-and-answer session, Solomont asked those in attendance simple rhetorical questions, including: “Did you know that the United States sends a lot of money to Pakistan?” and “Did you know that the decision to destroy Osama bin Laden’s house was made by the United States?”

After responding to queries about the “Talibanization of Pakistan due the war in Afghanistan” and the “demonization of Islam in the West,” Solomont said Obama wants to end the long-time American practice of establishing alliances with dictators in the Middle East, a strategy which he said has failed to prevent the rise of “the bearded ones” [radical Islamists], this according to the Barcelona-based newspaper La Vanguardia, which also interviewed Solomont on the sidelines of the event.

The Barcelona meeting, which was held in a Muslim ghetto called Raval (a.k.a. Ravalistan because Muslim immigrants now make up 45% of the barrio’s total population), is an example of the Obama administration’s so-called Muslim Outreach. The U.S. State Department — working through American embassies and consulates in Europe — has been stepping-up its efforts to establish direct contacts with largely unassimilated Muslim immigrant communities in towns and cities across Europe.

Proponents of Obama’s approach to public diplomacy say it is part of a “counter-radicalization” strategy which aims to prevent radical Muslims with European passports from carrying out terrorist attacks against the United States. A key component of the strategy is to “empower” Muslims who can help build a “counter-narrative” to that of terrorists. In practice, however, Obama ideologues are crisscrossing Europe on U.S. taxpayer funded trips to “export” failed American approaches to multiculturalism, affirmative action, cultural diversity and special rights for minorities.

In Ireland, for example, the U.S. Embassy in Dublin recently sponsored a seminar ostensibly designed to help Muslim immigrants increase their influence within the Irish business and financial communities.

The opening speech at the event was delivered by Imam Hussein Halawa of the Islamic Cultural Center of Ireland, despite the fact that leaked U.S. State Department cables show that the U.S. government has known for many years that Halawi is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood and serves as the right-hand man of the radical Egyptian cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi.

Halawa, an Egyptian immigrant who has dedicated his life to the cause of introducing Islamic Sharia law in Europe, told those in attendance that the main purpose of the conference was to bring the Irish banking system into conformity with Islamic legal principles. U.S. Ambassador Dan Rooney, a lifelong Republican turned Obama acolyte, said at the same conference that the United States was a “solid partner” behind Halawa’s venture.

In Austria, the U.S. Embassy in Vienna sponsored a film contest in February on the theme of “Diversity and Tolerance” aimed at teaching wayward Austrians that they should show respect for Muslim immigrants who refuse to integrate into their society. Ambassador William Eacho, an Obama campaign fundraiser turned political appointee, awarded the first prize to a group of students in the northern Austrian town of Steyr who produced a one-minute silent film promoting tolerance for Muslim women who wear Islamic face-covering veils such as burkas in public spaces. Obama and his team may think they know what is best for Europeans, but according to recent polls, more than 70% of Austrians are in favor of a law that would ban the burka.

In Belgium, U.S. Ambassador & ‘Judenrat’ Howard Gutman, another Obama fundraiser turned diplomat, told lawyers attending a conference in Brussels in November 2011 that Israel is to blame for Muslim anti-Semitism in Europe. According to the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronot, Gutman, who is Jewish, showed conference attendees a video of himself receiving a warm welcome at a Muslim school in Brussels, which he said proved that Muslims are not anti-Semitic. Following a barrage of criticism for rationalizing the growing problem of anti-Semitism in Europe, the U.S. Embassy in Belgium removed the evidence by uploading an amended transcript of Gutman’s remarks on its website.

In France, the U.S. Embassy in Paris co-sponsored a seminar to teach Muslims in France how they can politically organize themselves. Operatives from the Democratic Party coached 70 Muslim “diversity leaders” from disaffected Muslim-majority suburban slums known as banlieues on how to develop a communications strategy, raise funds and build a political base. The French government — which has been trying to reverse the pernicious effects of decades of state-sponsored multiculturalism — expressed dismay at what it called “meddling.”

The Obama administration’s Muslim-oriented coaching sessions on community organizing come as the Persian Gulf Emirate of Qatar is busy peddling the fundamentalist teachings of Wahhabi Islam – which not only discourages Muslim integration into the West, but actively encourages jihad [holy war] against non-Muslims — to hundreds of thousands of disgruntled Muslim immigrants in France.

As the Obamans and the Wahhabis compete for influence among Muslim immigrants, forward-looking analysts fret that France may yet end up with politically organized jihadists turning the banlieues into Islamic emirates.

In Norway, where Muslim immigrants already have more rights than native Norwegians, the U.S. Embassy in Oslo organized a “dialogue meeting” designed to “empower” Muslim immigrant women in the country. According to the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten, Obama’s special envoy to the Muslim world, Farah Pandith, castigated the Norwegian government’s integration policies as being insufficiently fair to Muslim immigrants. She also told Norwegians that Muslims are “more free to practice Islam in the United States than in any other country in the world.” Conservative Party leader Erna Solberg said Norway has much to learn from the Americans.

According to a leaked U.S. diplomatic cable, for example, Ambassador & ‘Judnerat’ Louis Susman “engages with U.K. Muslim communities regularly…he has spoken to Muslim groups in Wales and Scotland, visited the London Central Mosque, and hosted an interfaith breakfast at his residence, among other activities.”

Susman has come under fire for visiting another London mosque, namely the East London Mosque, which is one of the most extreme Islamic institutions in Britain. Built with money from Saudi Arabia to propagate Wahhabi Islam, the sprawling facility is home to the London Muslim Center, which the U.S. government has long known is a haven for Islamic extremists. During his visit, Susman spoke of his “great admiration” for the mosque and his enthusiasm for meeting its staff.

According to the leaked cable, “Having the U.S. Ambassador visit and listen respectfully to Muslim points of view has an enormous impact on groups that often feel marginalized and ignored.”

Fake Asian Accent and ‘Gibberish’: Farrakhan Gets Standing Ovation for Odd UC Berkeley Speech

Farrakhan Speaks at UC Berkeley About Black History, Obama & MoreLouis Farrakhan, the leader of the Nation of Islam, is known for his fiery language and rhetoric. Over the weekend, he brought these elements to the University of California, Berkeley, where he was invited to speak at the ninth annual Afrikan Black Coalition Conference.

Farrakhan’s presence at the event, which was organized by Berkeley’s Black Student Union, was protested by some student groups. Nonetheless, that didn‘t stop him from appearing and tackling some of the day’s most controversial issues. From Mitt Romney and Barack Obama to race relations and U.S. foreign policy, — Farrakhan covered it all. In fact, he even covered the Chinese while using an Asian accent.

The 78-year-old faith leader reportedly nearly filled the 700-seat auditorium and seemed to enjoy the controversy that surrounded his appearance at the university. And, despite the vocal opposition to his presence, Farrakhan received a standing ovation at the end of his address.

“Somebody on this campus would say you shouldn’t say what I have to say when the world listens to what Farrakhan has to say,” he said, addressing the controversy surrounding his presence. ”They are so fearful that you’re going to hear a word that will break a chain off of your mind.”

Farrakhan Speaks at UC Berkeley About Black History, Obama & More

While the main theme of the speech focused upon self-reliance for African Americans, as is typically the case, the unpredictable Farrakhan offered some uncomfortable moments for the audience. The San Francisco Chronicle reports:

Farrakhan at one point briefly adopted a faux Asian accent and used gibberish after asking the audience if they had ever seen the Chinese picketing, drawing a gasp from some in the crowd.

One female student quietly muttered “Oh no,“ when Farrakhan said he had ”a word to the Jewish students” before warning against a U.S. or Israeli attack on Iran.

Watch him use the accent, below:
But this wasn’t the full extent of his startling remarks. Shannon Najmabadi, a student at Berkeley, also covered the leader’s speech in school newspaper, The Daily Californian.
“You like to sugarcoat things so you can get along with your former slave masters,” Najmabadi quoted Farrakhan, as he was apparently addressing the history of African Americans in the U.S. and attitudes regarding their place in contemporary society.

He went on to liken the U.S. to a “troublemaker, meddling in the internal affairs of other nations” and he slammed the education system in America. Accusing the system of bias, he lamented the failure of educators to properly teach students about the accomplishments and positive moments associated with black history.

“This is what you call an education in white supremacy,” Farrakhan said. “So when you come out, you come out bowing to them.”

Before slipping in digs at Romney, Farrakhan offered up his sympathies to Obama.

“This is an election year and our poor brother Barack — I feel very sorry for him. Because he’s given America the best that he could,” he proclaimed. “He’s not an economist. He’s a constitutional lawyer who became the president of the United States.”

Watch Farrakhan’s entire address, below:

Last month, while speaking at the Nation of Islam‘s Savior’s Day in Chicago, Farrakhan advanced the theory that the Jewish people are in control of all forms of mass media.

“I’m not anti-Semitic, I’m just telling the truth,” he said. “In 100 years, [the Jews] control movies, television, recording, publishing, commerce, radio, they own it all.”

Additionally, just days ago, an opinion piece in the Nation of Islam’s newspaper, The Final Call, dubbed Glenn Beck “a minion of the Synagogue of Satan.”

Proceso Exposé : “Los Zetas” infiltrate the Army, PGR, AFI, PF and Governorships

Saturday, March 10, 2012 | Borderland Beat Reporter Chivis
The presence of the narco in the security institutions and PGR, neither Calderon or Attorney General Marisela Morales can hide more than just infiltration. The aforementioned structures are at the disposal of the capos of the cartels. As shown in a judicial file in which is described with detail-names and amounts of bribes, how federal, local police commanders and the army not only protect narcos, but they work for them as escorts, lookouts, informants, payers and even sicarios.

The arrest of four members of the criminal organization “Los Zetas” has revealed that operations are not only performed, but overlapped by the Mexican Army, the Attorney General’s Office (PGR), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (AFI) and the Federal Police (PF), as well as state and municipal police forces, both in Coahuila and Nuevo Leon.

Five years into Calderon’s war on drugs, which accumulated more than 50 thousand dead and a similar number of missing, the federal security forces did not escape the corruption that the president repeatedly attributed to police and local institutions.

According to the preliminary investigation PGR/SIEDO/UEIDCS/041/2012, made just last February 8, soldiers of the Sixth Military Zone killed citizens who were denouncing criminals and their bodies disappeared, in addition they would hide from PGR, shipments of drugs.

The investigation adds that so did the PF agents, who also identified, confronted adversaries of “Los Zetas”, they placed checkpoints where they guarded shipments. Also, they implemented the payroll of the Federal Support Forces (FFA) that sends the government temporarily to fight the narco.

Marisela Morales
Meanwhile, other members of the PGR and AFI, with bribes at all levels, were responsible for fining the members of “Los Zetas” with very weak penalties, freeing those who were detained, and reporting to the Zeta leaders all types of denunciations, including anonymous complaints.
In the case of the corporations of Nuevo Leon, “Los Zetas” presented the payment of the narconómina to either state or municipal police and also had a link with the state government to maintain their structure safely.
(below Cicero Salazar in office followed by his arrest)

In Coahuila, Lieutenant Colonel Manuel de Jesús Cicero Salazar, who served as head of the Operational State Police and protected “Los Zetas” was recommended by the Secretary of Defense, Guillermo Galván Galván.

The Corruption in the States Attorney General (FGE), which accounts for the previous Attorney General’s Office and the Ministry of Public Security Coahuila) was known for years by Felipe Calderon, whose government did not act until the second half of February.
The morning of the 15th of that month, on the premises of the FGE feds arrested the commander ministerial Sergio Tobias Salas Tobogán, and the state police Julio César Ruiz Esquivel, “Chicho”, who were also responsible for executions and disaappearing people.
Hours later, Claudia González López, the sub-delegate of the PGR fell in Saltillo, and was taken to Mexico City. All three, like Cicero, are accused of collaborating with “Los Zetas” and Thursday, 23 were issued formal arrests.
On Thursday 16, Attorney General Marisela Morales said: “We are confronting all the corruption with a frontal attack that can be found at all levels in our own dependence. We are the first to set an example and we have actions without precedent in this fight seeing we’re combating against our own federal agents, prosecutors against, anyone at any level (if they are corrupt). “
Morales said that there are more involved, but clarified they did not belong to this corporation. However, the same record that allowed the entry of the elements mentioned above also involves other members of the PGR.
As for military corruption, during the commemoration of Army Day on Sunday February 19, Calderon praised the soldiers but admitted: “It is true that there have been rare cases of some bad elements that deviate from the values that ennoble the institute armed with his uniform and thus betray the trust placed in them.”
These “exceptional cases” occurred in two of the greatest recorded entities with the most violence: Coahuila and Chihuahua, which make up the Military Region XI.
The cases documented so far are the disappearances and executions allegedly ordered by General Manuel de Jesus Moreno Aviña, head of the garrison in Ojinaga.
Manuela de Jesus Moreno Avina

And his involvement in executions of 39 Infantry Battalion, of Nuevo Casas Grandes, and now in the case of 69 Infantry Battalion, based in Saltillo.

Corrupting Power

The incriminating statements of the soldiers and officers arrested in March 2011 revealed how the corrupting power of “Los Zetas” escalated throughout the structure of the Sixth Military Zone, based in Saltillo, until the general Juan Manuel Vallejo Malibran, who served as chief of staff in the area and then was sent to Guanajuato.

So, on Wednesday February 8, PGR opened a preliminary investigation 041/2012, accumulating evidence and proof of inquiries 197/2011 and 101/2011, the latter made after the arrest on March 12, 2011, of Pedro Lara Toga, “El Guacho”, and Gerardo Hernández Sánchez,“El Gerry”, identified as leaders “Los Zetas”.
The two them are now protected witnesses of PGR. Toga Lara was given the confidential code name “Escorpión” and a Hernández Sánchez got “Sagitario”. In the above investigation, there is mentioned of another protected witness known as “Sérpico” and the statements of the three that came off to PGR and was deemed “accurate and reliable”, and has been useful for the capture of other members of “Los Zetas.”
In his statement on May 4, 2011, “Sagitario” incriminated (everything and their narcosueldos), the lieutenants Javier Rodriguez Aburto, Sócrates Humberto López González, and Julián Castilla Flores, who “earned” 50,000 pesos, and Marcos Augusto Pérez Cisneros, who got only 30,000 because he was “very lazy”.
“Los Zetas” paid 30,000 pesos to the lieutenants Alexis Rios Cruz, Francisco Javier Soto Nunez, Carlos Miguel Gallardo Ibarra, Edgar Sánchez Ruiz, Edgar Valencia Cardenas and Evencio Castillo Castro.
Sergeant Jose Luis Cerecedo Cruz, first officer Pedro Montes Vázquez and the soldier Omar Alejandro Martínez Rivera gave them 20 000. Pedro Montes Vázquez’s function was to operate communications and to transmit the orders of “Los Zetas”.
Another sergeant, Sergio Treviño Ríos, known by “Los Zetas” with code name “Tauro”, was who allegedly involved all members of 69 Infantry Battalion with the criminal organization and was responsible for paying the “narconómina” (narco payroll).
The arrested soldiers accused each other, and several crimes surfaced, including the murder of a lieutenant by the last name was Hoyos.
To the list of those implicated, names were added: Lieutenants Julio César Montiel Rumbo and Jesús Alberto Cordoba Rios, subteniente Francisco Javier Beltran Luna, The sergeants, Guillermo Flores Arrazate and Cecilio Ambros Antele, first officer, Salomé Juárez Cuéllar, soldiers Eleaquín Rubio Bautista and another with the last named Vinalay named. The list goes on.
Garcia Luna with Calderon

In the case of Lieutenant Soto Núñez, when he was arrested they secured 300,000 pesos in cash and weapons. According to the statements of Sergeant Treviño Rios settled in the file, Soto belonged to Montiel Rumbo team, battalion commander.

“Together with other lieutenants and soldiers, of whom I do not know the name, (Montiel Rumbo) was responsible for kidnapping and disappearing people opposed to the organization of” Los Zetas”, ignoring these activities and what he did to kidnapped people, and these in Saltillo, Monclova and Torreon,” said Trevino.
He added: “I know “El Rumbo” and his people. About three months ago (January 2011), They kidnapped three people who were teachers, engineers, people with some kind of profession, in the city of Monclova, because they put the Zetas on the spot.”
On Tuesday 21, the newspaper Reforma published other revelations of Treviño, settled in the military criminal case 279/2011, which affirms that General Vallejo Malibran is linked to “Los Zetas”, he wouldn’t inform the PGR about confiscated drugs, and he was carrying portable Kenwood radio given to him by the narco.
Regarding Lt. Hoyos, who was killed, Treviño said Hoyos guarded arms, money and cell phones, but he complained to General Vallejo to report fewer items and less amounts of money to the PGR, for which the general ordered to kill him.
“Narcosueldazos” – (Super Narcosalaries)
The statements of “Scorpio”, “Sagitario” and “Serpico” coincided with those of Luis Jesús Sarabia Ramon, Pepito Sarabia, arrested on January 11th in the limits of Coahuila and Nuevo Leon.

Luis Jesús Sarabia Ramón “Pepito”

Before the prosecutor, Sarabia narrated his criminal career, which began in 2005 as manager of the “little shops”, (narcomenudo) in Nuevo Laredo. Sarabia, is a compadre of Miguel Angel Treviño Morales, “L-40″, who upon hiring him, assigned him the code “L-44″.

Miguel Angel Treviño Morales, “L-40

In late 2007 he joined “The operation”, as the escort of “L-40″ and his brother Omar Trevino Morales (L-42) while hiding in the cities of Reynosa, Rio Bravo, Valle Hermoso and Matamoros, when the “Gulf Cartel”, then still allied to “Los Zetas”, were fighting for control of Nuevo Laredo against the now imprisoned Édgar Valdez Villareal “La Barbie” and Arturo Leyva, “El Barbas” was murdered in Cuernavaca.

In 2007 Sarabia was sent to Piedras Negras with “El L-42″ to act as “tranca”, communications manager of the organization in the city. In 2008, “El L-40″ made him the chief of the plaza Monclova and in 2009, Heriberto Lazcano sent him to Saltillo as plaza boss, but by then , part of pools, and investing money which gave him a profit of about $ 100,000 dollars a month. According to the witness, the code in “L” followed by a number is assigned to those in charge of Nuevo Laredo.
In his statement, Sarabia confirmed corruption in the PGR and AFI. Also “Serpico” settled inside the AFI in Coahuila, a commander got a “narcosueldo” of 100,000 pesos a month, a second commander, 70 thousand pesos, and federal public ministries 30, 000 pesos. They were also giving away expensive vehicles.
To identify the members of AFI, “Los Zetas” used the key “three letters”. Besides having police commanders, under their control, they also paid to sub-delegate of the PGR in Saltillo, Claudia Gonzalez Lopez.
Sarabia accounts the day that “El Gerry” (the witness “Sagitario”), arrived at the bar “Carlos’ n Charlie’s,” the former used for meetings, with sub-delegate, who was given 100,000 pesos a month, and a federal prosecution agent Blanca Isabel Dueñas Beltrán (with payments of 25,000 pesos) and Gladis Feliciana Leyva Quintero (50,000). In total there were five prosecutors and the sub-delegated.
In February 2010, the sub-delegate and MP González Leyva López Quintero, met Sarabia and “El Gerry” at the Chevrolet agency in Saltillo to buy a car for an official of the PGR. She left there on board a blue pickup double cab. The vehicles that were given to the AFI, and sometimes the “narconómina” were delivered to the back of the building of sub-delegation of the PGR in Saltillo, in the colony Topochico.
And against the assertion of the Attorney General Marisela Morales that more staff is not involved in the PGR, witnesses and the accused revealed that they paid 50,000 pesos to AFI agent Jose Guadalupe Ballesteros Huescas, whom they knew since 2009.
Therefore it pointed to David Corral Huerta and Enrique Gonzalez Nava, the latter responsible for the state AFI, based in Torreon and who received 600,000 pesos a month to distribute among the officers assigned to Coahuila. According to Sarabia, and the heads of his criminal group, they roamed around the state without being bothered.
In addition, elements of the PGR and AFI liberated goods, vehicles and weapons secured in operations. They removed bad charges from detained Zetas, reported all formal or anonymous denunciations of its members, and shared information submitted or requested by the Office of Special Investigations into Organized Crime (SIENDO) of the PGR.
In January 2011 they withheld payment because the FFA stopped “El Risas” in Saltillo, whom since May 2010 was the ‘cook” in charge of burning so the bodies were unidentifiable. “El L-40″ ordered to release “El Risas”, who along with Sarabia and other “Zetas” were his personal bodyguards in the years of war against Los Beltran Leyva for the plaza Nuevo Laredo.
It was not possible to release “El Risas” because the FFA had already given notice to the office in Mexico City. The sub-delegated Gonzalez Lopez had to personally explain what happened and release the withheld bribery.
Captain Valbuena
The four “Zeta” detainees signaled, Captain Jorge Luis Valbuena Flores, as one of their operators, and an officer of PF in Coahuila and Nuevo Leon before. According to “Serpico,” the captain was in charge of the PF in Nuevo León when he met him and began to deliver payroll through the “Commander Lino” at the same level of control as “Serpico” and was later brought down by the army on 25 January 2011 in Monterrey.
Escorpión said he met Valbuena in 2008 and also in Nuevo Leon collected payroll for Coahuila, where he was sent in 2010 as a commander of the PF.
The same witness said that Valbuena introduced “Los Zetas” the commander Enrique Gonzalez Nava, AFI, , Azulejo, the commander of the FFA who arrived in Saltillo in January 2011, and the regional intelligence chief. At that meeting the Zetas commanders gave Azulejo 2 million pesos and agreed to the amount that they would give the officers while in the two states.
According to the statement made on the record, Valbuena facilitated the corruption of local prosecutors in Arteaga, Coahuila, to free the detained criminals, but also led direct action for “Los Zetas”. Indicated that Valbuena led the search for “Pepito” Sarabia in Nuevo Leon, where he escaped, pretending to be dead after a shootout against the military in 2010.
The captain of the PF armed group was instructed to place the filters to monitor the PF, at the entrance to Saltillo coming from Monterrey , and in the toll booth of the Highway 57 Saltillo, Mexico and near the free road to Torreon in the area of General Cepeda, all in order to identify rival commandos or their cargoes, and ensure free transit..
Valbuena provided information on operations that were planned in Mexico City, the PF and other corporations (“was very well connected in the Federal District”). According to the witness, the officer gave indications on vehicles, flights, times, number of people, and the objective of federal operations in the area.
The captain also “solved the problems that the “Compania” came to have on the roads.”
On that occasion, when I paid him in early January 2011, 70,000 pesos for him, and for the troops were given over 1 million pesos, as the whole corporation is committed to “Los Zetas,” says “Escorpion”.
Valbuena added that he delivered between 800,000 and 1 million pesos in envelopes labeled with the names of the beneficiaries. The witness “Sagitario” attributed the theft of five heavily armored, “blinded” vehicles on the free highway Saltillo-Torreon to the captain, in April 2009, after which he disappeared drivers and delivered vehicles to whom was identified as “Commander Chabelo”.
The same source said that the captain of the PF was escorting shipments of drugs, weapons and armor to the cities of Miguel Aleman, Reynosa and Nuevo Laredo, as well as trailers with “Chinese loads” (name given for Fayuca) by the Zetas for foreign merchandise destined the Federal District.
According to the “Sagitario”, the captain is also responsible for the transport of contraband through Corporate Senda and for passing it to San Luis Potosi by an independent supplier. Similarly, the federal command has been involved in milking the Pemex pipeline, as well as for providing protection for the extraction of gasoline in Hipolito, Coahuila. Valbuena owns gas stations in Monterrey and he handed the now protected witness a three axle truck with gas each month.
The Torres Charles
Humberto Torres Charles brother of former Coahuila State Attorney
Also learned through the witness information that in Nuevo Leon operated “The Kid”. He distributed the payroll to judicial, state and municipal police, representatives from “Los Zetas” were present. One of the individuals who received the bribe was the “Bachelor Muñoz”, linked with the state government.
In Coahuila, the pawn of “Los Zetas”, was retired Lieutenant Colonel Manuel de Jesús Cicero Salazar, “Viejo Loco”. It was part of the so called “Model Coahuila” and in mid-2008 he was appointed head of Public Security in Ramos Arizpe, Saltillo.
The “Model Coahuila” was a program coordinated by journalist Isabel Arvide, which called for the designation of 11 generals, five colonels, nine major and other officers who numbered nearly 200, all retired, who were given all headquarters municipal public safety.
Arvide described it in Torreon, February 17, 2010: “All the military leaders, in this model, are commissioned, after passing tests of trust by the Secretary of National Defense. Most have been generational peers of General Galvan served under him or have coincided with his command in various commissions.”
The state police, prisons and the headquarters of the municipalities were filled with soldiers who operated freely and enjoyed armored vehicles, high-powered weapons, travel, insurance and bonuses never transparent. His “moral leader” was the then commander of Military Region General Mario González Marco Antonio Barrera, and now inspector general of the Department of Defense Comptroller (SEDENA).
Arvide ended their working relationship with the government of Coahuila in May 2010 after accusing the then state prosecutor, Jesús Torres Charles, of colluding with the underworld. Some of the soldiers that he took to Coahuila later reappeared in other entities such as Tamaulipas and Quintana Roo. This was the case of Cicero, who was appointed Secretary of Public Safety, but left office after a street scandal in Cancun.
Cicero became known in Coahuila in the wake of a shooting that was against the escort of “L-40″. Local media nicknamed him “El Rambo” and he lived on the premises of the municipal police because he had death threats against him. However, the statements of the protected witnesses shows that “Pepito Sarabia” gave him 500 thousand pesos a month (200 thousand of these for another person whose name is not mentioned), plus they gave him a Cherokee truck.
(Below Emanuel Almaguer)

Another involved was Emanuel Almaguer, Municipal Police Commander of Saltillo, who paid the payroll and received support for expenses of the patrols. He was executed on 5 December with his son of 12 years.

Witnesses and Sarabia agreed on Humberto Torres Charles (brother of former state attorney general), nicknamed “Glenda”, was a deputy in the nineties, under the command of Humberto Medina attorney Ainsley, father of Governor Nuevo Leon, Rodrigo Medina de la Cruz.
Emanuel Almaguer and his young son gunned down in Saltillo

Humberto Torres was legal director of the State Health Department. Today he is a fugitive. Respondents contend that they gave him very high bribes (the first for $100 000) and gave him a BMW and a Mustang.

On Monday 20 journalist Isabel Arvide told the newspaper Vanguardia of Saltillo that the corruption of former prosecutor Jesus Torres Charles was addressed by Felipe Calderon personally to Humberto Moreira , who ignored him and kept Torres at the office since 2010.
Former Coahuila Governor and PRI President Humberto Moreira

Despite this history and the confessions and accusations made by the detainees, who are almost a year in the power of the PGR, this office has not made any investigation against the former prosecutor Charles Torres. And it has not solved any cases of forced disappearance of any persons, although the president Felipe Calderon pledged since mid-2011 to accelerate research and respond to families seeking justice.

Tim Tebow and I both blitzed the Department of Education; we were both homeschooled. Tebow became the first homeschooler to win the Heisman Trophy and he’s now an NFL starting quarterback. And, as someone who was homeschooled through eighth grade and attended a private high school before graduating from college, I personally know that young people don’t need the federal government running their education. I think American children and their parents deserve more than an unconstitutional, one-size-fits-all federal education system. I think local governments and individual parents have the constitutional right to decide how and where children go to school….

Remains of 167 people found in Mexican cave

| Borderland Beat Reporter Ovemex

Mexican authorities have found the remains of 167 people in a southern Mexican cave, and forensic experts believe the remains are at least 50 years old, according to a statement from Chiapas state prosecutors.

The statement released Saturday said the remains were found Friday on the Nuevo Ojo de Agua ranch in an area frequently used by Central American migrants traveling north. The statement said there were no visible signs of violence on the remains, which “break easily.”

The statement said authorities will “not discard any line of investigation.”
The remains were discovered stacked atop each other in the cave, said a prosecutor’s office employee who was not authorized to release information and asked not to be identified. The remains have been moved to the state capital of Tuxtla Gutierrez for examination, the employee said.

Mass graves have been found in the past two years mainly in northern Mexico containing the bodies of dozens of migrants and others allegedly killed by drug cartels.

It’s a twist of irony: The Russian news website Pravda has published an accusation that the American media is “tame,” afraid to publish news and is “deliberately hiding the evidence published on the internet about [President Obama's] defrauding of the American public and the deliberate evisceration of the Constitution of the United States.” In a March 7 Pravda column, “Arizona sheriff finds Obama presidential qualifications forged,” Dianna Cotter, a senior at American Military University, blasts America’s mainstream media for their virtual silence about Maricopa County, Ariz., Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s six-month investigation into the controversy surrounding Obama’s birth certificate and his…

The Israel Air Force’s Iron Dome rocket-defense system intercepted 27 rockets fired from the Gaza Strip over the weekend, raising the interception rate from 75 percent last year to over 90%. Israel currently has three Iron Dome batteries in operation – in Ashkelon, Ashdod and Beersheba – and plans to deploy the fourth in the coming months. Its plan is to deploy a total of nine batteries by mid-2013. The battery in Ashdod intercepted 11 rockets out of 13 fired into the city; the battery in Ashkelon intercepted one rocket and purposely did not intercept four others since they were…

At Least 10 Killed as Muslim Homicide Bomber Attacks Catholic Church During Mass

Muslims blowing up churches. The horror turns your stomach. But criticizing Islam is the real crime. The world is on notice that criticizing Islam is the most serious crime against anti-humanity.

Where is the moral outrage?

JOS, Nigeria (AP) — A suicide car bomber attacked a Catholic church Sunday in the middle of Mass, killing at least 10 people in the latest violence targeting a church in a central Nigerian city plagued by unrest, a state official said. The bomb detonated as worshippers attended the final Mass of the day at St. Finbar’s Catholic Church in Jos, a city where thousands have died in the last decade in religious and ethnic violence. Security at the gate of the church’s compound stopped the suspicious car and the bomber detonated his explosives during an altercation that followed, Plateau state spokesman Pam Ayuba said.

The blast damaged the church’s roof, blew out its windows and destroyed a portion of the fence surrounding the church’s compound, Ayuba said. At least 10 people died, Ayuba said, while many others were wounded in the blast, including soldiers who also had been stationed at the church.

“He destroyed so many things,” the spokesman said.

No group immediately claimed responsibility though the city has been targeted in the past by a radical Islamist sect known as Boko Haram. The sect claimed a series of bombings in Jos on Christmas Eve in 2010 that killed as many as 80 people. The sect also claimed a similar church bombing on Feb. 26 on the main headquarters of the Church of Christ that killed three people and wounded 38 others.

The sect, which speaks to journalists through telephone conference calls at times of its choosing, could not be immediately reached for comment Sunday.

Muslim Brotherhood Group MPAC Says it was Consulted on LA Police Chief

We are under siege from within. Saboteurs. I blame the enemedia for covering up these treasonous acts.

The Global Muslim Brotherhood Daily Report » MPAC Says It Was Consulted On Choice Of L.A. Police Chief. (via Creeping)

The Muslim Public Affair Council (MPAC) has announced that the Mayor of Los Angeles has involved MPAC, along with other organizations, in the process of choosing the city’s next Chief Of Police. According to the announcement:

While making his decision on the next Chief of Police for the City of Los Angeles, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa last Friday reached out to local Muslim community leaders for their input on his big decision. Prior to the Mayor’s address, Deputy-Chief Michael Downing, spoke to a congregation of 1,000 worshipers after Friday prayers at the Islamic Center of Southern California, asking them for their prayers as the Mayor deliberates on his decision. During the meeting with Muslim leaders, the mayor asked for input on the qualities the community feels are especially significant for the new chief to posses. “As a member of the group of advisors who choose the last Los Angeles Police Chief, William Bratton, I strongly encourage the use of strong criteria — to not only have someone capable of upholding public safety but also to protect the civil liberties of all Angelenos,” said Dr. Maher Hathout, MPAC Senior Advisor. Executive Director Salam Al-Marayati re-enforced that “crisis management skills are of utmost importance. An example of this is the horrendous incident that took place at a synagogue in North Hollywood recently, where had the situation not been handled well, by Chief Downing, issues could have flared out of control. The acting Deputy-Chief reached out to leadership across the city to ensure proper communication. That is the type of leadership we need to have an effective leader to protect and serve Los Angeles.” Over the weekend, the mayor met with over 100 individuals to discuss his decision. The final candidates include Deputy Chief Michel Moore, First Assistant Chief Jim McDonnell and Deputy Chief Charlie Beck. He as also invited MPAC leadership to meet the his pick for the new chief on Tuesday, November 3rd. The Los Angeles City Council is expected to confirm his choice by November 10. L.A.

MPAC was established initially in 1986 as the Political Action Committee of the Islamic Center of Southern California whose key leaders likely had their origins in the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood. Since that time, MPAC has functioned as the political lobbying arm of the U.S. Brotherhood. MPAC has opposed virtually every count-terror initiative undertaken or proposed by the U.S. government. At times this opposition was said to be on civil-rights grounds but, just as often, MPAC claimed that U.S. counter-terror efforts were aimed at the U.S. Muslim community itself. MPAC has consistently supported and facilitated terrorism by supporting terrorist organizations and, more broadly, constructing an elaborate ideology defending the use of violence by Islamists and Islamist organizations. More than any other U.S. Muslim Brotherhood organization, MPAC has developed extensive relationships with the U.S. government which have included numerous meetings with the Department of Justice and the FBI.

Founded in 1988, the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) describes itself as “a public service agency working for the civil rights of American Muslims, for the integration of Islam into American pluralism, and for a positive, constructive relationship between American Muslims and their representatives.” The organization consists of eight chapters in California, and one each in Texas, Kansas, Nevada, and Iowa.

MPAC’s vision is “to establish a vibrant Muslim American community that will enrich American society through promoting the Islamic values of Mercy, Justice, Peace, Human Dignity, Freedom, and Equality for all.” In an effort to achieve this objective, the Council’s mission consists of: “effect[ing] positive change in public opinion and in policy with the purpose of realizing our vision”; “promoting an American Muslim identity”; “fostering an effective grassroots organization”; “training a future generation of men and women who share our vision”; “promoting an accurate portrayal of Islam and Muslims in mass media and popular culture”; “educating the American public, both Muslim and non-Muslim, about Islam”; “building alliances with Muslim and non-Muslims groups”; and “cultivating relationships with opinion- and decision-makers.”

From its inception, MPAC presented itself as more inclusive, and more open to peaceful coexistence with Jews and Christians, than other Arab and Muslim groups, and sought to make Americans comfortable with Islam by showing how much the religion embraced core American values. Throughout the 1990s, MPAC nurtured this image of moderation by organizing Muslim-Jewish dialogues in Los Angeles. Its members received invitations to the Clinton White House and appointments on federal commissions; they were similarly courted by the Bush campaign as the Clinton presidency drew to a close. MPAC’s Senior Advisor, Maher Hathout, who has close ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and espouses the radical brand of Islam known as Wahhabism, was invited to address the Democratic Convention in Los Angeles in 2000. Shortly thereafter, however, MPAC endorsed George W. Bush for U.S. President.

MPAC’s centrist public image unraveled after the September 2000 launching of the Second Palestinian Intifada, when the Council severed its ties to the Jewish community and issued one-sided condemnations of Israel’s response to the Arab violence.

MPAC’s support for President Bush similarly disintegrated after 9/11, when the Council actively opposed Bush’s military incursions into Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as his “excesses” in the war on terror. In February 2003, MPAC joined the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the American Muslim Council, and the American Muslim Alliance in forming a coalition to repeal and amend the Patriot Act, which these organizations depicted as an assault on the civil liberties of Americans, particularly Muslims. Seven months earlier (on July 14, 2002), MPAC National Director Ahmed Younis had stated that “if Thomas Jefferson or Madison or the like were alive today, they would go to John Ashcroft’s house and just shoot him.” (Ashcroft was the Attorney General who sought to enforce the Patriot Act.)

MPAC claims that Islam is a religion of peace and moderation, and contends that Muslim extremists are no more numerous or dangerous than fundamentalists in any other faith. “There are radical Christian, Jewish and Hindu movements, too,” says MPAC, “which are also capable of slaughtering innocents.” On occasion, MPAC has publicly condemned Islamic suicide bombings. These condemnations, however, are invariably accompanied by endorsements of Muslim “resistance” and “armed struggle” which MPAC frames as justified retribution against prior Israeli or Western transgressions.

Holding Israel entirely responsible for the “pattern of violence” in the Middle East, MPAC asserts that Hezbollah “could be called a liberation movement.” The Council likens Hezbollah members to American “freedom fighters hundreds of years ago whom the British regarded as terrorists.” In a November 1997 speech at the University of Pennsylvania, MPAC Co-Founder and Executive Director Salam Al-Marayati steadfastly refused to call Hezbollah a terrorist organization; he justified the existence of Hamas as a political entity and a provider of social programs and “educational operations”; and he equated jihad with the sentiments of the American statesman Patrick Henry, whose “Give me liberty or give me death” declaration was, in Al-Marayati’s view, “a way of looking at the term jihad from an American perspective.” In a 1999 position paper, MPAC justified Hezbollah’s deadly 1983 bombing of the American Marine barracks in Lebanon as a “military operation” rather than a terrorist attack. As Maher Hathout puts it: “Hezbollah is fighting for freedom, an organized army, limiting its operations against military people, this is a legitimate target against occupation. … this is legitimate, this is an American value — freedom and liberty.”

MPAC’s worldview is further revealed by its many additional public statements on a wide array of issues and events:

  • According to MPAC: “Israel was established by terrorism”; its founding “involved the unjust and illegal usurpation of Muslim and Christian land and rights”; and “to recognize the legitimacy of that crime is a crime in itself.”
  • MPAC characterizes Israel as a “racist, chauvinistic and militaristic” state that is prosecuting “a war to steal land from Palestinians, to decimate their leadership, to humiliate the Palestinian people.”
  • Condemning Israel’s “apartheid-like ideology,” MPAC warns: “History shows that Muslim and Christian religious rights are not safe under Israeli occupation.”
  • Israelis are “the worst terrorists in the world,” says MPAC, “… Yet Israel is not found on the list of state sponsors of terrorism in the [U.S.] State Department Report on Terrorism.”
  • MPAC co-sponsored pro-Palestinian rallies in the fall of 2000, where MPAC speakers chanted “Khaybar, Khaybar, oh Jews, the Army of Muhammed is coming for you!” The rally featured literature and many placards calling for the annihilation of the Jews and Israel.
  • A few hours after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, MPAC Co-Founder Salam Al-Marayati told a Los Angeles talk radio audience: “If we’re going to look at suspects, we should look at the groups that benefit the most from these kinds of incidents, and I think we should put the state of Israel on the suspect list because I think this diverts attention from what’s happening in the Palestinian territories so that they can go on with their aggression and occupation and apartheid policies.”
  • On November 30, 2002, MPAC Vice Chairman Aslam Abdullah said: “Those who are part of the political Zionist movement in America … know it very well that without the support of the United States … their country, namely Israel, would not be able to pursue its apartheid and racist policies in the Middle East. They will use every means possible to ensure that American administration stays on their side. They will create false enemies, they will distort facts, they will manipulate events; and they will concoct and fabricate lies. They have taken America hostage.”
  • MPAC was a signatory to a MAY 20, 2004 Joint Muslims/Arab-American Statement on Israeli Violence in Gaza, which “strongly condemn[ed]” Israel’s “indiscriminate killings of innocent Palestinians, including many children,” and its “demolition of Palestinian homes” — but made no mention of Arab terrorism.
  • On March 23, 2005, MPAC National Director Ahmed Younis spoke at a Muslim Students’ Association-sponsored event, where he explained that because Adolf Eichmann was himself a Jew, it could accurately be said that Jews had killed themselves in the Holocaust.
  • MPAC endorsed a November 1, 2001 document characterizing the 9/11 attacks as a legal matter to be addressed by criminal-justice procedures rather than military means. Ascribing the hijackers’ motives to alleged social injustices against which they were protesting, this document called on the United States “to promote fundamental rights around the world.”
  • MPAC speakers regularly complain that the U.S. is “dominated” by Zionists and favors Jews over Muslims.
  • Opposed to efforts to shut down Islamic charities that fund terrorism – alleging that such efforts interfere with freedom of religion and the exercise of the Muslim obligation to give to charity — MPAC states that the U.S. government should instead investigate what it terms Jewish “terrorists” like the Jewish Defense League. The Council signed and sponsored a petition to reinstate the assets of Hamas’ charitable front, the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, after it was designated as a front for terrorist financing.
  • According to MPAC, “A major threat to the safety of the Muslim community is the Islam-bashing that has been very evident since 9/11. There has been a steady stream of attacks on the Quran … These attacks are vicious, mean-spirited, and politically motivated. … [T]he most sustained and vitriolic [attacks] are from right-wing Christian groups led by Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson.”
  • The MPAC 2002 Annual Banquet featured Ali Al-Mazrui, a SUNY-Binghamton professor who said: “There is also suspicion that some members of the Bush administration in collusion with Israel are more than ready to plunge the Middle East into turmoil in the hope that the final outcome would be to the territorial advantage of Israel and the strategic advantage of the United States. All this is part of the emerging external sadism of the United States, a readiness to hurt others abroad.”
  • In a May 7, 2004 statement, MPAC said: “The scandal of Abu Ghraib was not an isolated incident but a manifestation of hate rooted in a distortion of American culture. The soldiers charged for torturing and sexually humiliating Iraqi prisoners were reflecting, among other things, an irrational hatred against Arabs and Muslims. Hatred in Abu Ghraib is inextricably linked with hatred increasingly fostered by some elements of our government, our media, and other major national institutions.”
  • After a series of arrests made in connection with an August 2006 airline terror scare in London, President Bush called the uncovered plot “a stark reminder that this nation is at war with Islamic fascists who will use any means to destroy those of us who love freedom, to hurt our nation.” MPAC spokeswoman Edina Lekovic reacted, “When the people we need most in the fight against terrorism, American Muslims, feel alienated by the President’s characterization of these supposed terrorists, that does more damage than good.”

In September 2005, MPAC joined with the anti-war organization Code Pink for Peace to sponsor a Culver City, California event promoting a new book by UC-Irvine professor Mark LeVine, who contends that an “Axis of Empathy” is the only strategy that can bring about a long-term solution to the war between radical Islam and the West. MPAC has also worked closely with International ANSWER, which has intimate ties to Ramsey Clark’s International Action Center and the Marxist-Leninist Workers World Party.

In November 2010, MPAC reported that it had recently given — to some 2,200 Transportation Security Officers (TSOs) responsible for screening passengers and luggage at U.S. airports — a two-month training program in cultural awareness about Islam and Muslims. MPAC President Salam Al-Marayati, MPAC Civic Outreach Coordinator Saadia Khan, and two MPAC volunteers conducted the trainings at Los Angeles International Airport. According to MPAC, the four trainers taught the TSOs “how to properly handle a Quran”; they “discussed the different ways Muslim women and men choose to cover or dress”; and they “allowed trainers to discuss the common practice of Muslims praying in various areas of the airport, adding that they do this because LAX does not have a designated prayer area as other airports do.”

MPAC has long worked to promote positive portrayals of Islam and Muslims in movies and television programs. Shortly after 9/11, the organization established its own Hollywood Bureau for this purpose. Since then, MPAC has consulted with the producers of such TV shows as “24,” ”Bones,” ”Lie to Me,” ”7th Heaven,” ”Saving Grace” and “Aliens in America.” The organization also has held meetings with top network executives from ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC, and organizes a Muslim-inspired version of a Hollywood awards show each year for productions that advance the public’s understanding of Islam. In 2009, for instance, this event recognized “The Simpsons,” for an episode that featured young Bart befriending a Muslim boy named Bashir. In early 2011, MPAC announced that it would soon be hosting a series of workshops — taught by Emmy-winning and Oscar-nominated veterans of the entertainment industry — to further promote more positive images of Muslims in film and television.

In November 2011, MPAC held a Washington, DC event in honor of Rachid Ghannouchi, the leader of the Ennahda, the Muslim Brotherhood affiliate that had recently emerged victorious in the political elections in Tunisia. Ghannouchi is a longtime Islamist who, during the 1990s, was invited to the United States by Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Sami Al-Arian but was banned from the country. Yet by MPAC’s reckoning, Ghannouchi is “one of the most important figures in modern Islamic political thought and theory.”

Just a few months prior to the November 2011 event, in an interview with an Arab-language website, Ghannouchi had stated that the Arab Spring “will achieve positive results on the path to the Palestinian cause and threaten the extinction of Israel.” Added Ghannouchi: “I give you the good news that the Arab region will get rid of the bacillus of Israel. Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, the leader of Hamas, said that Israel will disappear by the year 2027. I say that this date may be too far away, and Israel may disappear before this.”
