Further, both the companies saw their results negatively impacted by primarily the performance of their respective IT solution businesses. |
New home sales in the U.S. saw a sharp and unexpected drop in June, according to a report released by the Commerce Department on Wednesday, although the report also showed upward revisions to the data for the three previous months. The annual rate for June reflects an 8.4 percent drop from the revised May sales rate of 382,000. |
British drug maker GlaxoSmithKline plc on Wednesday reported a 13 percent increase in profit for the second quarter despite lower sales. Jihadist group behind Bulgarian homicide bombing of Jewish women and children was “sophisticated”
Word is that the other jihadist murderers in the Bulgarian Islamic terror attack, the ones who got away, are on their way to London (Olympics). This is the work of the worldwide network of the global jihad.
(Impact Press Group/ Associated Press ) – FILE – In this Thursday, July 19, 2012 file photo, a damaged bus is transported out of Burgas airport, Bulgaria, a day after a deadly suicide attack on a bus full of Israeli vacationers. Israel’s prime minister said Sunday, July 22, 2012 that his country is on alert for plots to kill more of its citizens overseas, after speculation that last week’s deadly bombing of a tour bus in Bulgaria was a rehearsal for a spectacular attack on Israel’s Olympics team.
“Bulgarian PM says group involved in suicide bomb spent a month in country, was sophisticated” Washington Post, July 24, 2012
SOFIA, Bulgaria — A sophisticated group of conspirators was involved in the suicide bombing in Bulgaria that killed five Israeli tourists and a Bulgarian bus driver last week, and they spent about a month in Bulgaria before the attack, the country’s prime minister said Tuesday.Boiko Borisov’s comments confirm suspicions that the suicide attacker who targeted a bus filled with Israeli vacationers last Wednesday did not act alone. However, the prime minister didn’t say how many people were believed to have been involved in the attack on Israeli tourists in Burgas and also declined to back up Israel’s claims that Iran and the militant group Hezbollah played roles.
Those involved used “leased vehicles, they moved in different cities so as not to be seen together, and no two of them can be seen in one place on any security camera,” Borisov said, speaking alongside visiting White House counterterrorism chief John Brennan.
He described the people behind the blast as “exceptionally skilled” and said they “observed absolute secrecy.” He also said DNA samples from the suicide bomber have been shared with all partner security services, but no match has been found in their databases.
“There was absolutely no chance of preventing such an act of violence,” Borisov insisted. “We could have only detected it by chance or if we had been informed by the services that such activities were under way in Bulgaria.”
He said officials believe he might have flow into Bulgaria from a European country in the Schengen passport-free travel zone, and that Bulgaria is exploring that lead with officials in other European countries. Though a European Union member, Bulgaria doesn’t yet belong to the Schengen area.
“We do not know his identity, but it is known when he has arrived, the presumed flight, where he came from. It could turn out that he entered Bulgaria from a Schengen member country,” Borisov said.
[...]Israel’s military chief insisted Tuesday that Iran and Hezbollah were involved and vowed that Israel would respond to the attack.
“We will have to find a way to respond to this attack, and not just a one-off,” Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz was quoted as telling the Israeli parliament’s foreign affairs and defense committee. “We will know how to do it judiciously. Ultimately, the response will come.”
Bulgaria bomber ‘had female companion’
The suicide bomber who killed five Israeli tourists and a local bus driver in a coach attack in Bulgaria had a female companion, according to reports.

The attacker allegedly spent time with the woman at a three-star hotel in the Black Sea resort of Varna before travelling to Burgas to carry out his attack, sources in the Bulgarian newspaper Troud claimed.
Along with hunting for the mysterious woman, Bulgarian police are also looking for one more accomplice. According to sources quoted by local media, investigators believe the bomber had two companions with him on the day of the attack, one of whom coordinated the operation while the other acted in support.
A taxi driver claims to have driven the bomber from Ravda to Pomorie two small towns north of Burgas in the early hours of July 18, the day of the attack, and that he spoke “decent Russian”.
The latest details add to the mystery over just who the attacker was and what group organised the bloody blast. Israel has insisted that the Lebanese group Hizbollah, acting on the behest of Iran, orchestrated the operation but so far no organisation has claimed responsibility, and there is no conclusive evidence linking Hizbollah to any other bomb attacks outside the Middle East.
But the newspaper Novinar said that the police are hunting a Hizbollah cell in the country’s Pirin Mountains, and are exploring the possibility that the Lebanese group made contact with local sympathisers.

Why Gun Control Laws Aren’t the Answer – Richard Epstein, Defining Ideas
Obama’s Top U.S. Islamic Group Calls for ‘Gun Control’
Gun control is exactly what Muslim Brotherhood groups and jihadists organizations like ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) need in order to achieve their conquest over the United States and the Constitution. Expect them to exploit the horrible tragedy of Aurora, taking their cue from President Obama, who immediately politiciized the dead.
ISNA was named an unindicted c0-conspirator and Muslim Brotherhood proxy in the largest terrorist funding trial in our nation’s history, the Holy Land Foundation trial. According to an interal captured document, their stated goal is to “eliminate and destroy Western cvilivation and and sabotage its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers, so that it is eliminated, and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”
and destroying the Western civilization from within …
The following is based on a May 22, 1991 document discovered by the FBI.
Understanding the Role of the Muslim Brotherhood in North America
The process of settlement is a “Civilization-Jihadist Process” and all the word means. The
Ikhwan [Arabic for brothers] must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad to eliminate and destroy the Western civilization from within, and sabotage its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers, so that it is eliminated, and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.Without this level of understanding, we are not up to the challenge and have not yet prepared ourselves for Jihad. It is a Muslim’s destiny to perform Jihad and work wherever he is and wherever he lands until the final hour comes, and there is no escape from that destiny except for those who choose to slack. But, would the slackers and the Mujahedeen be equal. [from Section Four: The Process of Settlement ]
Top U.S. Islamic Group Calls for ‘Gun Control’ Patrick Poole, July 24, 2012
Fresh off of handing a “diversity” award to outspoken Jew-hater DawudWalid, the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) is moving on to a new outrage by launching an attack on the U.S. Constitution.
The current issue of ISNA’s bi-monthly magazine Islamic Horizons carries an article about ISNA’s demand for gun control.
Specifically, the article, with the unambiguous title “ISNA Seeks Gun Control,” cites the shooting of Trayvon Martin to explain their opposition to S. 2188, the “National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act of 2012,” and S. 2213, the “Respecting States’ Rights and Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2012.”
An April 13thaction alert on ISNA’s website directs their supporters to contact Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to have him stop the legislation from becoming law.
The same action alert states that ISNA is part of the Brady Center’s “Faiths United to Oppose Gun Violence,” and the Islamic group signed onto the Brady Center’s “Faith” group letter to Reid demanding he block the legislation.
This is not the first time that ISNA and the Brady Center have united to oppose the Second Amendment.
As noted by The Truth About Guns in February 2011, ISNA was one of the original founding groups of the “Faiths United to Oppose Gun Violence” when it was rolled out by the Brady Center.
Nor is the Second Amendment the only constitutional freedom under assault by ISNA and its leaders.

Violence escalates in jihad on India’s Assam state, 30 dead
Anywhere there are Muslims, there is conflict. When they reach a certain level of population, they engage in jihad in order to oppress and subjugate the non-Muslim community, using violence when necessary. This looks and sounds very much like Myanmar.
Once again the pro-jihad BBC describes it as “clashes.” “Clashes” is code for when non-Muslims defend themselves against jihad, don’t ya know?
India again is the victim of jihad. They have suffered for centuries, and at least 80 million Hindus have been slaughtered in jihadi wars.

Snarky BNI one-liner that crashed the Bare Naked Islam website yesterday
Posted: July 25, 2012 | Author: barenakedislam | Filed under: Say WHAT? | 17 Comments »
It started with this email: ‘Arizona Tea party leader says all Muslims a threat’ to U.S.; seeks recall of McCain’ in which he used a line from one of my blog posts which became the focal point of all the coverage. He references a BNI story about the McCain attack on Michele Bachmann, which ended with this line:
“Go to Hell, Senator, it’s time for you to take your final dirt nap”
The site crashed when a huge overload of traffic from this news story to the BNI post below exceeded server bandwidth several times over.
Senator John McCain (R-AZ) defends the Islamic enemies of America with his despicable attack on Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN)
Sell-out John McCain takes to floor of the Senate to denigrate Rep. Michele Bachmann and 4 other Representatives for demanding an investigation of Hillary Clinton’s Muslim Deputy Chief of Staff’s familial ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
We always knew McCain leaned left and was inexplicably close with Hillary in the Senate. In a disgusting display of Islamo-pandering, McCain shames himself and the US Senate with this Speech (excerpts below)
{ – excerpts – }“I have every confidence in Huma’s loyalty to our country, and everyone else should as well. All Americans owe Huma a debt of gratitude for her many years of superior public service. I hope these ugly and unfortunate attacks on her can be immediately brought to an end and put behind us before any further damage is done to a woman, an American, of genuine patriotism and love of country.” (Go to Hell, Senator, it’s time for you to take your final dirt nap)
Here is the story as it first appeared in the Arizona Capital Times
Tea party leader says all Muslims a ‘threat’ to U.S.; seeks recall of McCain
A prominent Phoenix tea party leader who believes Muslims cannot be trusted to be loyal to the United States and should not be working for the federal government is incensed with U.S. Sen. John McCain’s defense of a top State Department official and is eying a recall drive against Arizona’s senior senator.
Wes Harris, the founder and chairman of the Original North Phoenix Tea Party, said he plans to take out a recall petition against McCain. While Harris has many problems with McCain, a mass email he sent out focused solely on the senator’s recent defense of Huma Abedin, a top aide to U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Harris accused Abedin of having ties to an Islamic extremist group, and he objected to the fact that a Muslim was working for the State Department in the first place.
Harris said he believes Muslims’ loyalty to the U.S. is questionable because their ultimate loyalty is to the Quran and Islam, which he described as “more a fascist type of organization.”
“Have you ever read the Quran? I suggest you do so, because anyone that is a Muslim is a threat to this country, and that’s a fact,” Harris told the Arizona Capitol Times. “There is no such thing as a moderate Muslim. If they are Muslim they have to follow the Quran. That’s their religion and that’s their doctrine.”
Harris said he plans to circulate recall petitions against McCain. In his email, he said, “We must find a way to get rid of this embarrassment.”
The email Harris sent includes a forwarded item from the blog Bare Naked Islam that castigates McCain for defending “Islamic enemies of America” and attacking U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, a Minnesota Republican and tea party favorite. The blog piece ends by saying, “Go to hell, Senator, it’s time for you to take your final dirt nap.”
Bachmann was one of five members of Congress – a list that includes Arizona’s Trent Franks – who signed a letter to the State Department’s inspector general alleging that the Islamic group Muslim Brotherhood was influencing the department. The letter also alleged that members of Abedin’s family had ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
Harris said McCain’s impassioned defense of Abedin on the Senate floor was far from the only reason he’s seeking the senator’s ouster, but it was a major factor.
“He just took Michele Bachmann over the coals on the floor of the Senate for her warning about the infiltration of the Muslim Brotherhood into our government,” Harris said. “It’s just one of many things. It culminates in this latest debacle.”
Harris is also a precinct committeeman in the Legislative District 6 Republican Committee.
Recalls against federal officials are not legally binding, and McCain would not be required to leave office if Arizona voters rejected him in a recall election. But state law allows federal elected officials to file statements with the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office pledging to resign if they lose a recall election, and McCain has filed such a statement.
No federal elected official in Arizona has ever faced a recall election. McCain critics on both sides of the aisle have pursued several unsuccessful recalls against him in recent years.
Harris said he believes Abedin has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. But ultimately, he said it doesn’t matter whether she’s linked to the group or not because he doesn’t believe Muslims should work for the federal government.
On Wednesday, McCain rose to Abedin’s defense in response to a June 13 letter that Bachmann, Franks and three other congressmen sent to Harold Geisel, a deputy inspector general at the State Department asking Abedin and other agency employees be investigated for alleged ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. He said the allegations involving three of Abedin’s relatives were unsubstantiated, and criticized the members of Congress who sent the letter for launching “specious and degrading attacks.”
“These allegations about Huma and the report from which they are drawn are nothing less than an unwarranted and unfounded attack on an honorable woman, a dedicated American and a loyal public servant,” McCain said. “These attacks on Huma have no logic, no basis, and no merit. And they need to stop now.”
Harris disagreed with McCain’s assessment of Abedin, saying she shouldn’t be working for the State Department, regardless of whether she has Muslim Brotherhood ties.
“Is she a Muslim? Is she an active Muslim?” Harris said. “I rest my case. That’s all she needs to be.”
Zuhdi Jasser, the founder and president of the Phoenix-based American Islamic Forum for Democracy, an organization dedicated to opposing Islamic extremism, said Harris’ views are misguided, ignorant and dangerous.
Jasser said there is no inherent conflict between Islam and American values, and that Harris is confusing the religion of Islam with the political ideology of Islamism.
Though Jasser disagreed with the five congressmen’s decision to name Abedin in their letter, he said he shared many of the other concerns they shared about the Muslim Brotherhood and the threat of Islamic extremism to the United States. Islamism is a genuine threat to America, he said.
A McCain spokesman declined to comment on Harris’ comments or his recall threat.

KCTV 5 Blogger tells McCain to take final dirt nap
In an interview with KCTV, I said:
“I was a bit nasty in what I said about him but, you know, I really think he was out of line to do this,” said the founder of barenakedislam.com, who does not reside in Arizona and asked that we not give her last name. She accused McCain of “defending Islamic enemies of America” because of his comments, and even wrote, “Go to hell, senator, it’s time for you to take your final dirt nap.”
“I regret, you know, adding that line, but it’s what I felt at the time,” she said. Her website was actually down Tuesday because of an overload of traffic on the site.

CALM, JUDICIOUS TEA PARTIER SEEKS TOTAL RECALL OF TRAITOR MUSLIM-LOVER JOHN MCCAIN
Too bad they didn’t take a look at what John McCain said about the Muslim Brotherhood last year:
Der Spiegel pointed out the obvious: “A certain role of the Muslim Brotherhood in the transition process [to ‘democracy’] in Egypt seems acceptable to the Obama White House.” It was early February 2011, the moment when the uprising that would oust Hosni Mubarak was bubbling over in Tahrir Square. The prominent German newsmagazine figured, who better to ask about the Muslim Brotherhood than the American political establishment’s resident foreign-policy genius, John McCain?
So, the reporter asked him, does Obama’s tolerance of the Muslim Brotherhood “concern you”? Senator Maverick shot back without hesitation: “It concerns me so much that I am unalterably opposed to it. I think it would be a mistake of historic proportions.”
Senator McCain elaborated that he was “deeply, deeply concerned that this whole movement [toward democracy] could be hijacked by radical Islamic extremists.” And what, he was specifically asked, “is your assessment of the Muslim Brotherhood”? McCain pulled no punches:
“I think they are a radical group that, first of all, supports sharia law; that in itself is anti-democratic — at least as far as women are concerned. They have been involved with other terrorist organizations and I believe that they should be specifically excluded from any transition government.”
In fact, so apprehensive was he over the Brotherhood and its sharia agenda that McCain was quick to brand Mohamed ElBaradei, the Nobel laureate, as a Brotherhood tool. Many of us watching developments at the time noted the apparent collusion between ElBaradei and the Brothers. McCain went farther: “Oh yeah, I think it’s very clear that the scenario is very likely he could be their front man.”

Defense contractors Northrop Grumman Corp. and General Dynamics Corp. reported Wednesday a profit for the second quarter that topped analysts’ expectations. While Northrop raised its full-year 2012 earnings outlook, General Dynamics lowered its earnings guidance. Quarterly sales topped Street estimates at Northrop, but missed at General Dynamics. Further, both the companies saw their results negatively impacted by primarily the performance of their respective IT solution businesses.
